"The house of 'Never'"
"By the street of 'By and by' one comes to the house of 'Never,'" wrote the Spanish author Cervantes. How often a potential talent lies dormant, a discordant situation festers, or a lonely person is left to his solitude because we delay action!
Why do persons procrastinate? Some reasons commonly given are these: a rat-race schedule, fear of failure, the need to look at all the angles before making a decision. Deterrents less often acknowledged are excessive sociability, daydreaming, and inertia. The excuses as well as the problems can be met and mastered through Christian Science.
Supposedly, youth is the time for daydreams, but do not adults at times sit idly contemplating what they would like to do or be? It is true that dreams can be seedlings for accomplishment.
