ARRAYED IN BEAUTY
Never
label love a duty,
Love that comes arrayed in beauty.
Like the sun, Love drives out gloom
And brings the soul of man to bloom.
Love it is that warms the earth
And wakens men in life's new birth.
Love is God by man reflected,
Every beam by Him directed.
Where the humble heart awaits
Love will open wide the gates
To let in warmth, to let in light.
Love it is dispels the night.
Never label love a duty,
Love that comes arrayed in beauty.
