I am thankful for God, and I am grateful to Him for Christ Jesus, who taught that God forgives sin and heals disease, and for the consecration of our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science. With a sincere desire to help others, I give this testimony. Nothing is hopeless when we reach out to God; no matter how serious the problem seems to be or of what duration, it can be solved through Christian Science. We have the promise (John 8: 32), "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." In "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy we read (p. 494), "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need."

I had many illnesses in my youth, and Christian Science was offered to me on two occasions. Being prejudiced and ignorant of what this Science is, I did not accept it at those times; but the seed had been sown.
