Charles Louis Reilly, C.S.B., of Los Angeles, California, has been appointed Manager of Department of Branches and Practitioners of The Mother Church, effective June 7, 1965. He succeeds Norman B. Holmes, C. S. B., who has been appointed a member of The Christian Science Board of Lectureship.
Mr. Reilly had his early schooling in St. Paul, Minnesota. After completing his education in the Institute of Musical Art of the City of New York, he moved to California and began a professional career as a pianist and organist. In 1926 he joined a branch church and The Mother Church and a few years later received Primary class instruction. In 1940 he entered the public practice of Christian Science.
Mr. Reilly has held membership in several branch churches and has served in various capacities, including those of First Reader and chairman of the executive board. He is now a member of Second Church of Christ, Scientist, Los Angeles.
