Our Reading Rooms
Prepared to Serve
A librarian writes:
"In the past year the members of the Reading Room staff have been endeavoring to better prepare themselves for service in the Reading Room by considering together some of the basic questions which might be asked by those who come to inquire about Christian Science. And they have found that many of these questions have actually been asked by visitors.
"A young student of theology came into the Reading Room and asked if Christian Scientists believe in being born again. He was interested in finding out more about our religion. At that particular time the attendant in charge had been studying the article entitled 'The New Birth' in 'Miscellaneous Writings' by Mrs. Eddy. She turned quickly to this and quoted our Leader's words on the subject.
