College Organizations

Students in colleges and universities are finding that individual spiritual growth accompanies their work for Christian Science college organizations. In like manner, the vitality of the organization's activities depends on the individual member's acknowledgment of his true relationship to God and to his fellowman as he reads, ushers, introduces a lecturer, works on a committee, invites a non-Scientist to an organization activity, calls on an inactive member, participates in inter-religious programs, and conducts himself in his classes among other students.

The following is a sampling of expressions of gratitude that have reached the College Organization Division of the Department of Branches and Practitioners:

New Zealand: "From the time of the 1961 Biennial College Meeting, Christian Science has reached deeply into my life. Its Principle has daily grown clearer to me, and my grasp of its law is increasingly evident. In 1962 I received class instruction and have since been able to practice Christian Science for myself and others and to work fruitfully for church and organization. The value of membership and activity in the organization here has been quite priceless and a tremendous incentive to my spiritual growth."
