RADIO PROGRAM No. 146 - Spiritual Healing: Natural or Miraculous?

INTERVIEWER: Much prominence has been given in past years to spiritual healing, healing through prayer. But many people are baffled by this approach. The inclination to view such healing as miraculous is brought out by the Reverend Edgar L. Sanford in his book, "God's Healing Power." He writes: "In spiritual healing, a favorite word is 'miracle.' In other therapies, a man can just 'get well.' In spiritual healing, the minds of many people seem to insist that there be a miracle." (© 1959, by Prentice-Hall, Inc., Englewood Cliffs, N. J.)
