I should like to relate a healing that occurred several years ago when I was a college senior doing my student teaching.

A chest complaint presented itself in the spring of the year and grew progressively worse until one night I was in great pain. I asked a Christian Science practitioner to do prayerful work for me. Then I decided to call home and ask my parents to come for me.

At home I was in bed two days, unable to move because the pain was so severe. At the end of the second day the thought very suddenly came, "How long do you think you're going to lie here?" With that thought I sat upright in bed.
