I am very grateful to the doctor...
I am very grateful to the doctor who, over twenty years ago, recommended to my husband that he look into Christian Science, since he had been told that no medical treatment could help him. The doctor said he knew of wonderful healings in Christian Science.
Shortly after this we saw in our local press an invitation to attend a Christian Science lecture. We attended it and were convinced Science would meet our need. We commenced attending services and engaged a practitioner. Treatment was given; in a very few weeks the healing of an acute form of rheumatism took place, and my husband was once again able to take part in normal activities.
In this testimony I also wish to give thanks for the healing of a growth on the back of my neck, which was very noticeable to all. About two years ago a brother of mine who is a doctor asked me to agree to an operation. He said he had never before interfered with my religious beliefs, but now he felt he should because only a surgical operation could heal this condition.
