An experience I had about two...
An experience I had about two years ago was to me a revelation of the healing power of Christian Science. For many months I was faced with a serious physical problem as well as an overwhelming sense of fear.
I worked faithfully as we are taught to do in Christian Science to overcome this aggressive sense of physical deterioration and mental depression. I constantly kept in mind these statements of our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, from the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health (p. 183): "Divine Mind rightly demands man's entire obedience, affection, and strength. No reservation is made for any lesser loyalty."
It was a constant necessity that I work to learn man's inseparability from God and gain an understanding of God's all-presence and power. I experienced a great sense of spiritual inspiration, but I did not realize my freedom from these alarming problems and seemed to grow worse.
