My husband and I are very...
My husband and I are very grateful for the spiritual unfoldment we experienced before the arrival of our second child. Previous to this time I had experienced two miscarriages, and there was much fear to overcome before thinking of having another baby. There seemed to be freedom from these fears when another pregnancy started, but in a short while they returned and increased daily.
After several months, at exactly the same stage as the second miscarriage, when the fear seemed most pronounced, there were all the same, symptoms, reaching a stage when a repetition appeared imminent and, I allowed myself to think, unavoidable. But the practitioner was very firm with me and certain of healing. As she recommended, I turned unreservedly to the ninety-first Psalm and stayed with it all night, feeling great peace and comfort. I felt a rearrangement, and everything was in its right place again.
I was relatively new in the study of Christian Science and had not applied myself to it consistently before, but this proved to be a wonderful opportunity for peace and study and a period of much spiritual growth.
