Man's Ageless Being

Because man is made in the image and likeness of God, according to the account in the first chapter of Genesis, he must be ageless, for God is ageless. He must be spiritual, for God is Spirit.

So the beliefs of age—slowing down, decrepitude, and death are simply false beliefs about God's perfect creation. God never made an old man or a young man, for that matter. But what He did make is the perfect expression of Himself, man ageless, endless, changeless, deathless.

Jesus told Nicodemus that he could not see the kingdom of God, or, in other words, realize complete harmony, unless he was born again. When Nicodemus asked how a man could be born again "when he is old" (John 3: 4), Jesus answered, "Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God." So in order to demonstrate dominion over age, even in a degree, we must change our thinking and replace materialistic thoughts with the spiritual truths of God and of man.
