I am one of the many grateful...
I am one of the many grateful ones who had the privilege of being reared in a loving home where Christian Science was always used for healing. In the Sunday School, at an early age, I learned to know God as Love. I learned many Bible verses and many statements from Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy.
I was healed of rheumatic fever as a young child. My mother stood firm for the truth that man, God's child, is perfect and unchanging because God is perfect and unchanging. Man is God's image and likeness. The truths learned in Sunday School helped me to trust God for healing.
The symptoms of this disease were sometimes extreme; but through the help of a practitioner the complete healing came as each claim of mortal mind was reversed. The healing was not a quick one, but it was complete. When in later years I was required to have a thorough physical examination it was verified that the illness had left no effects. This healing has always inspired me to be persistent in knowing the truth when solving other problems.
