It's Christmas!
When we were children, what was more exciting than Christmas morning? Wonderful things, bright sparkling things, surprises, receiving and giving, thank-you hugs—a day when there was nothing to look forward to but joy and love.
As we grow up and learn the true meaning of receiving and giving and saying "thank you," how wonderful it is to find that joy and love are ours every day! They are ours because of the Christ. Understanding the Christ, we look forward to each morning, because that is the day some wonderful gift— just what we needed—is going to come to us.
The wise father and mother know just what will make a child happy. In Christian Science we learn that God is our Father-Mother and that He is all-wise, all-loving. He always gives His child exactly what he needs and what will bring him joy. God is Mind, and His child is Mind's perfect idea, man, made in His image and likeness.
