For the past seven years I have experienced and witnessed the efficacy and practicality of Christian Science in my daily affairs. I now desire to express my gratitude for the healing of discordant physical conditions as well as the overcoming of smoking and social drinking. Additionally, I should like to express my gratitude for a beautiful demonstration involving the recovery of a stolen item.

One day I parked my automobile on an attended parking lot in the busy downtown area of a large metropolis. Inasmuch as the lot was attended and I was going to dash into the office of the company for which I worked for only a few moments, I did not feel obligated to lock the vehicle. When I returned some ten minutes later, I stepped into the auto and reached across the seat to place a few items in my attache case. To my surprise I found that it was no longer there.

My first reactions were those of anger and chagrin directed toward the person who had taken the case, for it had been a gift from my wife, It contained papers which were of value to me and my firm, and it also contained my copies of the Bible and of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, both of which had been gifts.
