THE SECRET PLACE

Within the sanctuary of prayer
ideas of Mind transform the night
of fear to morning. There you know
the certainty of Truth is might.

Within the peace of prayer you learn
the power of Love to blot out sin.
The secret place of the heart is where
man's innocence is truly seen.

For man is always God's dear son;
his quiet trust is unimpaired.
And prayer that heals is a listening-in
to the sweet concords of Love's Word—

to harmony of Principle,
whose strength is law, whose law is right.
In the secret place the ear is full;
the eye is single with His light.
