Before taking up Christian Science,...
Before taking up Christian Science, I experienced several miscarriages. Two years ago, after I had begun to study Science, I became pregnant again. I am grateful for the practitioners who helped me during the months of pregnancy through their understanding of the Christ, Truth.
Whenever it seemed as if I were going to experience another miscarriage, I called a practitioner for help. I held on to this Bible verse in which Moses encourages the children of Israel to go forward and face the nations the other side of the Jordan: "Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee" (Deut. 31:6).
From Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy these words on page 302 also helped me: "It is imposible that man should lose aught that is real, when God is all and eternally his."
