Love Fulfills the Law

The Psalmist sang, "O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day" (Ps. 119:97). As we become aware of the spiritual fact that God, divine Principle, governs our lives, we find order replacing confusion, peace replacing tension, and love destroying fear and doubt.

The law of Love manifests itself in righteous activity, peaceful rest, pure motives, and happy relationships. If these are present in our experience, we can be sure that, in some degree, we are demonstrating the law of Love. If we are not experiencing healthy activity in our bodies, harmonious relationship in our jobs and homes, we are challenged to learn more of God's law of Love.

Spiritual law is absolute and invariable. Christian Science reveals that this law is based upon the allness of God, His perfection, the perfection of His creation, including man, and the consequent nothingness of evil, or error, of any description. The invariability of this law does not make it rigid or limited in its application to human needs. On the contrary, there are infinite ways in which God's law compassionately blesses mankind.
