I wish to express my very deep gratitude for having become acquainted with Christian Science, which has brought me uninterrupted protection and guidance in all my activities.

Before I had begun the regular daily study of the Lesson-Sermon, outlined in the Christian Science Quarterly, I began to feel eyestrain. When it grew worse, I was forced to consult an oculist, who, after a thorough examination, prescribed the use of reading glasses.

Months later, after I had begun the daily study of the lesson, the eyestrain began again, and it grew increasingly worse so that I visited the oculist again. After prescribing stronger lenses, the oculist pointed out to me that he would have expected the present condition of my eyes to cause headaches and other annoyances, but I had not experienced them.
