Our Response to Good
It is important that we always respond to good and refuse to respond to suggestions of the carnal mind. In proportion to our response to good, and our lack of response to evil, we meet and master erroneous suggestions that daily present themselves to us, whether they are suggestions of insecurity, fear, hate, lack, sickness, or death.
Through the study of Christian Science we learn that the real man is the direct reflection of God, Mind; hence man is the reflection of the one divine consciousness, God. As we become more aware of God's allness, of the sinless joy and goodness of His creation, and of man's indestructible, inseparable relationship to God, we naturally respond to good and are less responsive to error's spurious suggestions. On page 536 of Science and Health, Mrs. Eddy writes, "The divine understanding reigns, is all, and there is no other consciousness."
