When I was in my early twenties...
When I was in my early twenties I had a very uncomfortable case of pyorrhea. My dentist told me that he could treat my teeth and gums but that the condition, which had come on very rapidly, was such that he believed the only successful course would be to remove all my teeth. This was indeed distressing. I had been studying Christian Science for only a few years and was not sure what to do. The dentist knew that I had been attending a Christian Science church, and he told me that he would recommend Christian Science treatment because he had witnessed a healing of pyorrhea through it.
I got in touch with a practitioner, and within a few weeks I had my healing. I was very grateful to God and learned during the following years that these trials and healings give us courage to advance when other difficulties arise.
Since then I have been healed of warts and colds, a member of the family was healed overnight of an ulcerated tooth, and business problems have been solved.
