Diligent Preparation for Joint Lecture Bears Fruit
It was the sincere desire of the members of several branch Churches of Christ, Scientist, in a large midwestern city of the United States to effectively carry the message of Christian Science to their area last summer by jointly sponsoring a Christian Science lecture. As a result of prayerful metaphysical work, a joint committee was appointed and began functioning in February. Metaphysical work was held uppermost in the entire preparation for this lecture and was continued for a period following the giving of it.
The decision to hold the lecture in a large ballroom was prompted by its proximity to an area much in need of the influence of Christian Science. Each church wholeheartedly approved the choice of this auditorium.
