The healing power of Christian Science has been amply demonstrated in my personal affairs during the eleven years in which I have been a student of the religion. Problems of a physical, moral, and financial nature have been solved by my relying solely upon the teachings of the Bible and of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy.

While a young student in high school I was plagued by frequent headaches. Reassured in Sunday School by the gentle truths of God's abundant provision of health for His children, I began to cope with the problem by utilizing my knowledge of Science. I reasoned from the basis of man's perfection as the spiritual expression of God. The headaches gradually abated, and they finally ceased to occur. They have not returned.

Some years later a momentary realization of the power of Truth as it is defined in Science resulted in an immediate healing. I had suffered a bee sting, which was very painful. Immediately my consciousness was flooded with the illuminating truths of "the scientific statement of being" from page 468 of Science and Health. Within a few seconds the pain had completely vanished and there was no visible evidence of the sting, proving that, as the statement says, "there is no life, truth, intelligence, nor substance in matter."
