SOUL'S DELIGHT
Joyful
, let us take our stand for God,
Knowing His the power with which we act;
Then, unshaken at the point of strength,
Prove this truth eternally is fact.
Blessed, the meek inherit only good,
So the master Christian tells us plain.
And no man more humble ever walked
Nor a mightier shall live again.
Trusting God's omnipotence today,
Christlike let us outlaw death and sin,
Nowhere yield to doubt but steadfast still
Glorify His "kingdom come" within.
Here the lie of weakness is reversed;
Strengthened hearts awaken in His light.
Thus from swaddling bands of sense released,
We perceive that man is Soul's delight.
