I wish to share through this testimony the joy and blessings which Christian Science has brought to me and my family. Through our own understanding, and at times with the help of a practitioner, problems of lack of supply and of a home have been solved, and physical disorders have been healed.

When our daughter was just a few months old, she suddenly became very ill, suffering from a condition affecting both ears, one more severely than the other. She would sleep only minutes at a time and had not taken any food for several days. We asked for the support of a practitioner and prayed to realize that in reality she was the perfect, spiritual child of God, that He was her Father-Mother, and that she was forever in His loving care, therefore manifesting only good.

This passage from "Miscellaneous Writings" by Mrs. Eddy was very helpful (p. 277): "No evidence before the material senses can close my eyes to thescientific proof that God, good, is supreme." Though the healing took several weeks, a lump in one ear eventually opened and drained, and the condition of both ears became normal.
