The Self-destruction of Evil
"If evil is not created by God...the nature of evil
must be wholly illusory"
Evil is not real, because it is not of God. Therefore evil is powerless. These truths which Christian Science presents are scientific realities which are capable of proof in human experience. However, evil is never to be ignored. Its unreality must be clearly perceived, its nothingness realized. When this occurs, the destruction of evil is assured, for only when evil is accepted in consciousness as a reality does it seem to have power. Unsustained by human credulity, evil falls to its self-destruction and complete obliteration.
