I am thirteen years old, and I...
I am thirteen years old, and I have been going to a Christian Science Sunday School ever since I can remember.
One day, some time ago, I noticed a large corn on the side of my heel. I at once started knowing the truth that "a spiritual idea has not a single element of error, and this truth removes properly whatever is offensive" (Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, p. 463).
I prayed along this line, but the corn became worse. Quite soon it was so painful that I could not walk straight. I went to a practitioner for help. She gave me a new and wonderful thought. She said I should have a full, spiritual meal in Christian Science each day by studying the Lesson-Sermon from the Christian Science Quarterly, the writings of Mrs. Eddy, including the Manual of The Mother Church, and the Christian Science periodicals. Through studying in this way, I began to have a satisfying meal each day.
