The life of Mrs. Eddy, the...
The life of Mrs. Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, has been an inspiration to many. Mrs. Eddy's unselfishness in giving Science to the world has proved that a right idea, if heeded and nurtured, grows in human thought.
When I was fifteen attended a Christian Science Sunday School for the first time and was very much impressed by the dignity and order expressed. My first healing was that of earache and swollen glands, which I had previously experienced every year. Although I do not recall exactly what my Sunday School teacher said, I do know that after I discussed this condition with her I was free from it and have been ever since. That was over twenty years ago.
Another healing for which I am grateful took place about sixteen years ago. We were moving into an upstairs apartment when I suffered an injury to the base of my spine. The pain was the worst I had ever experienced. My husband called a Christian Science practitioner, and this dear woman immediately came to see me. My progress as a result of her effectual prayer was rapid.
