Peace in Our Hearts

"Let us not forget that discord among nations
begins with discord among individuals"

The world seems unable to attain the peace it is crying our for. Why? Because it is thought that peace is something to be had from without; whereas the reverse is true. How can we expect peace to reign in the world if we have not peace in our hearts?
