Two Great Angels, Michael and Gabriel

In the Bible there are many references to angels. The patriarchs and prophets are pictured as talking with angels as intimately as friend talks with friend. Christ Jesus' birth was proclaimed by an angel throng. During his life he walked with angels, and they ministered to him constantly. He even said (Matt. 26:53), "Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?"
