Heartening Activity
"Much progress has been evidenced since moving our Christian Science Reading Room from a remote location on a side street to one on a busy main street," writes a librarian in Whittier, California.
"The interest and response of inquirers as well as of church members have been gratifying. Several people have expressed their pleasure at finding a Reading Room in the city. Those who used the former Reading Room have expressed their gratitude for this more convenient location.
"There have been more requests for the booklets offered on the radio and television programs sponsored by The Mother Church. Sales of The Christian Science Monitor from the honor rack in front of the Reading Room have increased substantially. And too sales of the books and periodicals have reflected the upswing of activity.
