It is with joy that I recall how my whole outlook on life was transformed when I was healed of profound grief and other inharmonies through Christian Science. I am writing this testimony in gratitude for the peace that I feel.

My human experience had culminated in near chaos after four years of a burdensome schedule at college followed by marriage immediately upon graduation, with subsequent years of financial strain, many moves from one area of the country to another in connection with my husband's work, and inadequate housing. In addition to these occurrences, three children were born to us, the third of whom passed on shortly after his birth. It was at this point that I could no longer hold on to my material concept of life, and I turned wholeheartedly to God.

Christian Science had been somewhat familiar to me by association inasmuch as my husband had been reared in it. However, it was not until this time of crisis that I began in earnest to study and apply it. Because of my confused thinking I needed reassurance, and this I gained progressively as I studied and prayed. I needed to understand that in reality the universe and those I love are not material, subject to sin and death and other discords; but they are spiritual, created by the one divine Mind, God.
