In February, 1940, a building was purchased at the corner of Pine and Fairfield Streets, where services were held until January, 1961.

The new edifice was started in June, 1960, and completed in January, 1961. The first service was held in the new building, January 29, 1961.—The Avon Park Sun (November 2, 1961).
