Chérie Lives the Christ
[Of Special Interest to Children]
Chérie, who has been going to the Christian Science Sunday School since she was a tiny tot, has always loved to learn about the people in the Bible stories. When she was very young, she could say the Lord's Prayer, the Ten Commandments, and the Beatitudes.
When she knew how to read, she was transferred to another class, and her mother gave her her own copies of the Bible and of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy to use and to carry to Sunday School.
In the new class the teacher told the children that they were going to start to study some part of the Lesson-Sermon from the Christian Science Quarterly each week, just as the grown-ups did. These Lesson-Sermons are studied through the week by all Christian Scientists so that they will daily gain inspiration and spiritualization of thought. Cherie was thrilled to use her new books and have the teacher show her how to study the lesson.
