Spontaneity

One dismal morning I stood on the street corner waiting for my ride to work. It was a drizzling, cheerless morning in early spring —the kind of weather one would least expect or desire for that time of year. Suddenly, out of the chilly murk there came the song of a bird, and it was repeated several times. Such freedom, such over-flowing cheerfulness!
