I am very grateful for Christian Science and especially for the privilege of having been a pupil for a short time in the Christian Science Sunday School. The basic truths of our religion, which I received there, gave me a firm spiritual foundation.

Early in my experience I was healed of constipation, of which I was very much afraid. Previous to this I had discontinued the use of material remedies. I remembered Mrs. Eddy's words in Science and Health (p. 167), "Only through radical reliance on Truth can scientific healing power be realized." I lost all fear of the condition, and normal functioning was resumed and has continued ever since.

About this same time I was healed of a severe attack of boils through my study of Christian Science and with prayerful help from my Sunday School teacher. Another condition that did not yield so quickly was a skin irritation which would abate and then return at a later period. When I reached out to God for a solution to this problem, it was shown to me that one must not be satisfied with a better sense of human existence, but must obey the command of Jesus to be born again (see John 3:7). St. Paul tells us that "if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new" (II Cor.5:17). Gradually this condition became less aggressive until it vanished completely.
