"God gives us all good always, unconditionally,
impartially, and universally"

Does one seem to have lost a material object or health or companionship or employment? If so, this very experience can turn one's thought to the realization of endless good as the gift of God. James wrote, "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning" (1:17). And in Science and Health, Mrs. Eddy says (p. 302), "It is impossible that man should lose aught that is real, when God is all and eternally his."
