"Honesty is spiritual power"
"That which is divinely real expresses itself in
that which is humanly right"
The old proverb "Honesty is the best policy" is often pointed to as a rule for fair play and fair practice. Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, writes in the textbook. "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 453), "Honesty is spiritual power." Christian Science takes honesty out of the ebb and flow of material thinking, out of the varied human uses of it, and establishes it in Truth, wherein there is no variance.
