Signs of the Times
The Reverend Ray Eversole
of Huntington Park's Christ Church
in the South Gate Press
South Gate, California
You cannot have any good things in completeness if you have within your consciousness the negative aspects of tension, worry, anxiety, hate, greed, distrust, fear, or hurt feelings.
To bring about changes in your life that will ultimately bring about the "peace that passes all understanding," you must begin to understand yourself better and know that you are a child of God and as such are the Heir to the kingdom of God and all the good that is contained therein. You must understand that to have peace of mind ... in the world it must begin with the individual . . . who in himself is the expression of God to the degree that we understand ourselves and God, to the degree that we permit God to work in and through us to use us for the accomplishing of mighty works.
