I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science and for all the help I have received from the study and application of it for many years. One of my first healings was that of quinsy. This condition had been troublesome for several years, keeping me in bed for a week or more on the occasion of each attack.

I was visiting my aunt one summer when I had an attack, and I was very fearful. However, my aunt offered to help me through prayer in Christian Science. She asked me to repeat the Lord's Prayer until I went to sleep, and she said she would give me a Christian Science treatment. I did not think I could possibly sleep. However, I did as she asked and soon fell asleep, and the next morning J awoke completely healed. There was no period of convalescence, and there has not been a return of this disease in over thirty years. I was also permanently healed of periodic nosebleeds at this same time.

I took up the study of Christian Science, and as I continued with it, I eventually joined The Mother Church and later became a member of a branch church and had the blessed privilege of class instruction. Science has met all my needs during the years that have followed my first healing, and I am increasingly grateful to God for this truth which was discovered and given to the world by Mary Baker Eddy.—(Mrs.) Cleone A.
