When Christian Science was first presented to me, I was in a desperate condition mentally, physically, and financially. I turned to it as a last resort and asked for help from a practitioner. I spent every free moment reading Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy.

There was at first a period of constant struggle with sickness; but nevertheless I persevered, and gradually my health improved. At that time I also had all sorts of fears about all sorts of subjects, but they disappeared little by little as my understanding of Christian Science grew. Years have now passed, and I am in excellent health, something I would not have dared to hope for before learning of Science.

One day, after a disagreement with my employer, I received notice of the termination of my employment. I asked a practitioner to help me, and he encouraged me and helped me to overcome a feeling of resentment. A few days later, the situation remaining the same, I asked that my dismissal be submitted to arbitration. The one assigned to take care of the matter forgot to do so, and, to my surprise, the next day I was informed by my employer that he was going to retain my services. This came about before any human action had been taken. God, divine Mind, had adjusted the situation.
