Learning to Be Patient

"Patience is not merely waiting in a hurry"

The Scriptures often tell us the value of patience in daily life. Consider the profound admonition, "Let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing" (James 1:4). Here we see that learning to be patient offers us a glorious reward and inspires us to fulfill Jesus' direction (Matt. 5: 48), "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect."
