MEASUREMENT
And
if a thousand years be held
The same as one day in His sight,
Can aeons build a plethora?
Or hours show a deficit?
Has aught the power to impose
Restriction on the infinite?
Can truth one whit be altered? Love
'Twixt calipers be made to fit?
Eternal life, how shall it be
Measured within a mortal span?
Not by one beam is measured sun;
And by his God is measured man.
