Those who set high standards for themselves and others are frequently tempted to be excessively critical of the shortcomings of another person. Such unkind criticism, which is unloving in every way, is quite the opposite of that constructive criticism which, while uncovering the error that would seek to ensnare, points out the higher way and serves to uplift and guide thought into higher realms.
