The Allergy Humbug
"There is nothing in all God's creation that
can irritate or be irritated"
When it is said that people love to be fooled, the reference is, of course, to their love of amusement, innocent make-believe, and entertainment. But no one wants to be humbugged, nor will anyone knowingly submit to imposition or fraud. In the light of Christian Science, allergy is a deception, a fraud, a humbug. Unwittingly the allergy sufferer, believing himself to be the victim of sensitiveness to certain elements, is submitting to deception and, as a result, is being robbed of his health and harmony.
