"IN THY SIGHT"

Psalm 19: 14

Let my ways be justified
In Thy pure sight alone:
Not in the sight of men, O Lord,
Nor even in my own.

The eyes of others may mistake,
Their judgment err and fail;
And sin or will may dim my own,
For human sense is frail.

But thoughts that dwell in holiness,
And words that speak Thy might,
Will justify themselves, and so
Find blessing in Thy sight!
