I am grateful to God for Mary Baker Eddy...
I am grateful to God for Mary Baker Eddy, because through her discovery, Christian Science, my life was saved.
Fifty-five years ago I had tuberculosis of the lungs. My doctor advised me to go to North Carolina, where a famous specialist took my case. My health failed rapidly, and I became so weak that I could not even sign my name. Finally a series of heart pains occurred which made it very difficult for me to breathe. At each attack I feared that I would pass on.
The specialist finally decided that nothing more could be done for me and recommended that I be taken to my home in New Jersey.
