WORDS OF CURRENT INTEREST
[The words in this issue are related to the Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly designated to be read in Christian Science churches on November 19 and on Thanksgiving Day, November 23, 1961.]
With open face beholding as in a glass (II Cor. 3:18)
The word rendered "open" means more exactly "unveiled"; while the word translated "beholding as in a glass" was often used in Greek in the sense of "mirroring," or "reflecting."
Hagar (Gen. 21:14)
