Moral Integrity
"The lifting of the moral tone of society begins with oneself"
There is need in society today of moral courage and an uncompromising adherence to right. Christian Scientists are proving that this need can be met individually through a more spiritual concept of existence and of the actual source of integrity.
Mrs. Eddy writes in Science and Health (p. 192), "Moral and spiritual might belong to Spirit, who holds the 'wind in His fists;' and this teaching accords with Science and harmony."
As a musician must learn the fundamentals of rhythm, harmony, and composition before he can express them in his own work, the Christian Scientist must learn of the power, order, and harmony of Spirit, God, in order to bring them out in his own experience. The more he learns of God's goodness, His completeness, His omnipresence, the more he sees that, as the reflection of Spirit, man includes goodness, completeness, and right activity. As the expression of Spirit, Soul, man obeys good. He is wholly unconscious of cunning suggestions of material sense.
