DAVID'S HEALING

[Of Special Interest to Children]

This is what happened to a boy named David. He was a Christian Scientist, and he loved to learn about God.

Whenever David did not feel well or when he was unhappy about something, his mother and father would remind him of God and tell him that God is Love, always right where he is, ready to help him. They would tell him stories from the Bible about Christ Jesus; how he loved little children and talked to them; how he went here and there, healing sick folks.

They read to him from another book he had learned to love, Science and Health, which was written by Mrs. Eddy. His favorite part was the last chapter, called "Fruitage." He liked to hear of the people who were healed by reading the book.
